About KNI

NeuroInstitute of Southwest Michigan, 1541 Gull Road, right behind the Borgess Medical Center.

KNI is widely known as the organization which has introduced virtually every technological advance in MR imaging to Southwest Michigan. But it has built its reputation first and foremost on the quality of patient care and responsiveness to referring physicians.

The complete satisfaction and comfort of our patients is our goal, and we work to achieve it through our commitment to the highest standard of service.

KNI/Southwest Michigan Imaging Center and its affiliated business-Midwest Mobile Diagnostic Imaging- are part of a joint venture with Borgess Health Alliance. The first MRI service in Michigan to be JCAHO accredited, KNI is dedicated to performance improvement.

KNI is a partner in the NeuroInstitute of Southwest Michigan. A 3-Tesla MR unit serves patients at the NeuroInstitute, while another 3-Tesla MR is in operation at the KNI facility, 1700 Gull Road. KNI also has the region's only high field (1 Tesla) Open MR magnet at KNI on Gull Road.

As was the case in other MR advances since bringing the first magnet to the region in 1985, KNI led the way on internet transmission of MR images.
