Our Staff

Helen Osterwald is the chief administrative officer at KNI . She oversees all business and operational aspects of the organization. One of the longest standing administrators in the region, Helen as been with KNI since 1982. A graduate of Michigan State University, Helen worked with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for seven years prior to working for Kalamazoo Neurology in 1980. Helen is a long-standing member of the state and national Medical Group Management Association chapters and the national Magnetic Resonance Managers Society. Helen is the key management contact with KNI's many medical partners throughout southern Michigan.

Gerry Turowski is Service Manager at KNI. One of the most distinguished service and technology managers in the region, Gerry has been with KNI since 1988. He oversees all technical operations, including the personnel and equipment responsible for quality imaging, at the fixed centers and at mobile sites. Gerry is also responsible for total quality improvement processes, computer systems, maintenance and service and safety programs. He also manages new construction and site modifications for fixed and mobile sites.

Sarah Engstrom is a 1997 graduate of Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. She joined KNI in 2002. As our Patient Services Supervisor, Sarah is in charge of the day to day operations and training of the patient services staff. This includes patient scheduling and registration as well as coordination of patient financial services.
